At Guitar Anatomy, we’ve spent years refining our own range of professional-grade guitar care products. Every formula we produce is created in-house here in the UK, built on real-world experience, constant testing and a genuine commitment to making products that outperform anything else we’ve used.

The Guitar Anatomy Fretboard Deep Cleaner uses a carefully balanced cleaning formula designed to break down the build-up that naturally forms over years of playing — sweat, oils, dirt and the stubborn finger gunk that dulls the feel of the wood. Refined through years of real workshop use, it delivers a thorough deep clean while remaining completely safe for use on unfinished fretboards. It quickly removes heavy grime and leaves the wood clean, fresh and fully stripped back.

The formula is fast-drying, leaves zero residue, and as an added bonus it smells amazing, giving your instrument a revitalised feel the moment you wipe it down. Once the fretboard is completely clean, we recommend following up with the Guitar Anatomy Fretboard Conditioner to restore natural moisture and rehydrate the wood.

Usage Instructions

Apply a small amount of conditioner to a clean cloth using the easy-pour nozzle. Work it into the fretboard in small sections, allowing the oils to absorb for a short period. Remove any excess with a dry cloth.

Storage

Store in a cool, dark place when not in use to maintain the quality of the conditioning oils.

Each bottle is mixed, bottled and quality-checked by Guitar Anatomy, ensuring the same consistent standard from batch to batch. It’s the conditioner we trust on our own instruments — and the one we’re proud to put our name on.
