Add Your Own Wording and Serial Number

Select your chosen design from the drop-down menu, enter the wording you would like in the Custom Text box, and add your required serial number in the Serial Number box.

Your serial number can contain letters, numbers and symbols in any combination. Custom wording could include a name, workshop name, build name, location or a short phrase such as “Custom Build” or “Made in the UK”.

Longer wording may need to be reduced in size to fit the selected layout, so shorter text will usually produce the clearest result.

Application and Clear Lacquer

Apply the decal to a clean, smooth and properly prepared surface. Once it has been positioned and allowed to dry fully, seal it beneath a compatible clear lacquer to protect the decal and create a more integrated, painted-on appearance.

Build the finish gradually using several light coats rather than one heavy coat. Always test compatibility between the decal and your chosen lacquer on a spare piece or inconspicuous area before applying it to the instrument.
