Telecaster Wiring Kit – Out-of-Phase Layout (Alpha Pots)
The Guitar Anatomy Telecaster Wiring Kit – Out-of-Phase Layout expands the tonal palette of the traditional Telecaster by allowing you to manually reverse the phase of the bridge pickup. This modification is engaged via a push-pull potentiometer, offering a unique, “hollowed-out” nasal tone when the bridge and neck pickups are selected together.
When the push-pull is in the standard position, your guitar retains its classic Telecaster wiring. Engaging the switch flips the bridge pickup out of phase with the neck, producing the thin, biting “quack” famously associated with Jimmy Page’s early Led Zeppelin recordings. It is a perfect tool for adding a distinct, filtered character that typical Tele setups can’t reach.
Part of the Guitar Anatomy wiring kit range, each kit is supplied with a clear wiring diagram for straightforward installation.
