Yes, unwanted items can be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in their original condition. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Customised items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Neck Fitment & Setup

Will this neck fit my guitar body?
Our necks are a perfect fit for our Guitar Anatomy bodies and are compatible with popular US, Mexican and Japanese bodies. This often includes many aftermarket bodies too, but neck pockets can vary between manufacturers, so please always check the neck pocket measurements before ordering. If you are unsure, message us on live chat or send us an email via our contact form and we can help confirm fitment.

Are the necks playable out of the box?
Yes, all of our necks go through rigorous setup and quality control checks by our in-house luthier before dispatch. The frets are correctly seated, polished and finished, and rosewood fretboards come pre-oiled with our Guitar Anatomy fretboard conditioning oil. However, because wood can move slightly during shipping, storage and temperature changes, we recommend a full setup after fitting for optimal playability and action.

Will the neck need setup work?
After fitting a new guitar neck, a guitar will benefit from a full setup. This may include checking neck relief, action, nut height, intonation and final string height to suit your playing preference.

What should I check before ordering a guitar neck?
The main thing to check before ordering is the heel width of your guitar body’s neck pocket. Our necks are a perfect fit for our Guitar Anatomy bodies and are compatible with popular US, Mexican and Japanese bodies, but if you are unsure, please message us on live chat or send us an email and we can help confirm fitment with your current body.

Is the neck in the image the exact one I will receive?
The product images show examples selected from the current stock available. As wood is a natural material, grain, figuring and colour can vary slightly from neck to neck. If you are looking for a specific grain pattern, figuring style or any particular characteristics, please message us on live chat or send us an email before ordering and we’ll do our best to help.

Do you offer custom necks?
At this time, we do not offer fully custom necks. Our necks are built to our own standardised specifications and are designed to offer consistent quality and compatibility with common guitar builds. If you are looking for specific dimensions or features, please check the product description or send us an email before ordering.

Are the necks finished or unfinished?
This varies by product. We offer unfinished necks that are ready for oiling or lacquer, as well as necks finished in polyurethane or nitro lacquer. The finish and feel are specified in each product description, so please check the individual listing carefully before ordering.

Do the necks include a nut and truss rod?
Yes, all of our necks come fitted with a pre-fitted and slotted bone nut, along with a 2-way adjustable truss rod.

Are the frets already installed?
Yes, our guitar necks come with frets installed, seated, polished and finished as part of our setup and quality control process. Some final setup work may still be required once the neck is fitted to your guitar.

Are tuner holes pre-drilled?
Tuner hole specifications vary by neck. Please check the product description for the tuner hole size and compare it with your chosen machine heads before ordering.

Can you fit tuners or drill holes before dispatch?
We may be able to offer selected custom services, such as tuner fitment or pre-drilling. Please send us an email before ordering to confirm whether this is possible for the neck you are interested in.

Can I return a neck if it does not fit?
