Vintage-Style Nitro Satin Finish
Give your build that classic vintage look with our satin nitrocellulose finish. Favoured for its traditional feel and the way it develops character over time, nitro has been used on some of the most iconic guitars since the 1950s.
Our finish combines a smooth, satin nitro topcoat with a protective polyurethane undercoat, helping reduce the risk of cracking during transit. The nitro topcoat ages well, making it a customer favourite to keep things clean and classic or create your own played-in, road-worn look.

Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes, all of our products come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects or faults. If you experience an issue related to materials or workmanship within this period, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship guitar parts worldwide from the UK. International delivery costs are shown at checkout. Depending on your country, local import taxes, duties or courier handling fees may be payable before delivery.
Do you offer free UK delivery?
Yes, UK orders over £34.99 qualify for free UK delivery. Faster delivery options are available at checkout.
How long does delivery usually take?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days. Necks may require up to 3 working days of preparation by our luthier before dispatch, especially during busy periods. For neck orders, choosing faster shipping pays for a next-day delivery service after preparation is complete; it does not shorten the preparation time. Delivery times otherwise vary depending on your location and the service selected at checkout.
Can I return my item?
Yes, unwanted items can be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in their original condition. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Customised items cannot be returned unless faulty.
What if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?
Please contact us with photos of the issue as soon as possible. We’ll work quickly to resolve the problem, whether that means sending a replacement, issuing a refund, or providing another suitable solution.

Do you offer custom services?
We do not offer full custom product manufacturing, but we may be able to help with selected services such as tuner fitment, pre-drilling holes in bodies or necks, and similar modifications. Please contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.
How do I care for and maintain my product?

Body Fitment & Finish
Will this body fit my guitar neck?
Our bodies are compatible with Guitar Anatomy necks and popular US, Mexican and Japanese necks. This often includes many aftermarket necks too, but neck heels can vary between manufacturers, so please always check the heel measurements before ordering. If you are unsure, message us on live chat or send us an email via our contact form and we can help confirm fitment.
What finish options do you offer?
This varies by product. We offer unfinished bodies that are ready for oiling, staining or lacquer, as well as finished bodies. Our nitro lacquer bodies are satin finished, while our polyurethane bodies are gloss finished. Please check the individual product description carefully for the specific finish on each body.
Are your nitro bodies finished in pure nitro lacquer?
Our nitro-finished bodies are finished with nitro lacquer, but we apply a polyurethane undercoat first to help stabilise the wood and reduce the risk of cracking during transport. The body can still be reliced. If you would like more information about the finish on a specific body, please message us on live chat or send us an email.
What will show underneath if I relic the finish?
Most of our finished bodies have a clear undercoat, so the wood will show first when relicing. For some colours, we apply a coloured undercoat to help achieve the correct final colour. If you are planning to relic a body and want to check the undercoat on a specific finish, please message us on live chat or send us an email before ordering.
Do you offer pre-drilling services?
Yes, we can offer selected pre-drilling services at an additional cost. This can be useful if you want help preparing the body for a specific bridge, neck or hardware setup. Please message us on live chat or send us an email before ordering for more information.
What bridges fit your Telecaster-compatible bodies?
Our standard Telecaster-compatible bodies work with vintage-style ashtray and modern Telecaster bridges. Match the bridge mounting pattern, pickup routing and string-loading arrangement to the listed measurements. Clearance and non-standard bodies may have different requirements, so check the individual listing. If you are unsure which bridge to use, please message us on live chat or send us an email and we can advise before you order.
What wood are the bodies made from, and how many pieces are used?
Our range includes American alder, ash and mahogany bodies. The wood and piece count are listed in each body’s specifications where confirmed. Two-piece bodies use two selected pieces joined to form a stable foundation. If a piece count is not listed, please contact us rather than assuming it is three-piece. Clearance and non-standard bodies may use different materials; always check their individual descriptions.
Is the colour in the product image accurate?
The main product gallery shows the listed body and finish. We aim to represent the colour clearly, but lighting and screen settings can change how it appears. Shared detail images illustrate features and may show a different colour or finish. If you have a question about a specific body, please message us on live chat or send us an email.
Can I choose a specific grain pattern or figuring?

Will the body need any setup or final fitting?
Our bodies are checked before dispatch and supplied as components for your build. Assembly and setup are required, and final fitting depends on your chosen neck and hardware. Guitar Anatomy necks are designed to match our standard body dimensions; when a body and neck are purchased together, we test fit them before dispatch. Check clearance listings for any non-standard drilling or fitting work before starting your build.
Can I return a guitar body if it does not fit?
Yes, unused bodies can be returned within 30 days with no problem, provided they are in their original condition. Once a body has been drilled, modified, assembled, reliced, lacquered, oiled or customised, it may not be eligible for return unless faulty. Please check compatibility carefully before starting work on the body.
