Yes, you can use almost any finish on our unfinished necks. For roasted maple necks, we recommend using boiled linseed oil for a fast-playing, smooth surface that enhances the grain’s beauty. However, you can also use other finishes like lacquer, polyurethane, or tung oil, depending on your desired look and feel. The choice of finish is entirely up to your project and preferences.
