To offer that authentic vintage crystal clear P90 tone, this model uses high quality Alnico V magnets that have been tuned to Trev Wilkinsons specification.

Alnico 5 magnets give that open, airy top-end sparkle, producing a brighter tone with a tighter low end and stinging highs. Alnico 5 magnets particularly shine in the neck position, keeping the tone clear without getting muddy. Producing that authentic tone that cheaper ceramic pickups can’t match.

These pickups are wax potted to prevent microphonic feedback and mechanical failure over time.
