Fuzzy Duck™ Gold Series Single Coil Pickups for Stratocasters (Black Full Set)

These handmade pickups are designed to produce the sound of a vintage 60s Strat with a lot of attention to detail.

Made with the perfect blend of Alnico II and V poles, these pickups have period correct magnet stagger and produce a warm smooth vintage tone without sounding too deep and muddy. Alnico 5 magnets have been used to keep the low end focused whilst Alnico 2 magnets keep the high end sounding warm and rich.

For the Gold Duck Series, The middle pickup is RWRP (reverse wind reverse polarity) for hum-cancelling in positions 2 & 4. Whilst the bridge pickup is slightly overwound to give a hotter output which helps to provide tonal balance to the set.

The Gold Series come wax potted and have waxed cloth wire as per vintage Fender Spec.
